Brinks Patent Prosecution Group Webinar
May 03, 2016

To begin the series “Peeking Behind the Curtain – Explaining the Inner Workings of the US Patent Office”, we present “Understanding the Patent Examiner Count System In Order to Advance Prosecution”.

An understanding of the Examiner Count System is key to efficiently and effectively prosecuting cases before the US Patent Office. To that end, we provide an in-depth understanding of the Examiner Count System, and provide specific recommendations that can result in shorter time to issuance and lower prosecution costs.

In particular, we provide recommendations as to both how and when to interact with Examiners in order to advance prosecution. We further apply this understanding of the Examiner Count System to the After Final Consideration Pilot Program. This presentation will be of interest to any dedicated patent prosecutor or to anyone that oversees patent prosecutors.  In this regard, we offer the presentation at two times on May 3rd: 9:00 am and 2:00 pm (both Central time).

*This seminar is accredited for 1.0 hour of Illinois MCLE credit. Please inquire if you wish to seek CLE accreditation in additional states.
