Brinks Gilson & Lione To Address Recent and Anticipated Developments in IP Law

CHICAGO—Brinks Gilson & Lione is presenting a webinar “2018 IP Developments” to address recent developments in intellectual property law and a look at what might be ahead for companies engaged in research, development, and marketing their innovations on February 7, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. CST.

Brinks president, Gustavo Siller, will moderate the discussion and will be joined by Brinks attorneys Jennifer Fox, William Frankel, Andrea Shoffstall and Sen (Alex) Wang. The panel will share insights on prevailing issues in biosimilars, patent prosecution, patent litigation, and copyright law.

With over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, shareholder Jennifer Fox will discuss 2018 industry developments in the biosimilars industry.

Copyright practice group chair, William Frankel will present “Developments and Strategies in copyright law. Bill’s practice includes a range of cutting-edge copyright disputes and encompasses patent, trademark, trade secrets and unfair competition in the U.S. and abroad; he also counsels clients on evaluating, protecting, procuring and transferring IP rights.

Associates Andrea Shoffstall and Sen (Alex) Wang will discuss “The Lasting Effects of TC Heartland and Oil States.”
