Tadashi brings more than 25 years of experience to a practice focused on patent prosecution, opinion, licensing issues and litigation. With a deep background in electrical and computer-related technologies, he has particular experience in matters involving video and audio coding, computer-controlled medical diagnostic analyzers, and fuel cell systems. He also regularly prosecutes design patents.
His opinion work encompasses both non-infringement and invalidity analyses. Tadashi has practiced with Brinks Gilson & Lione since 1992; prior to that, he practiced at the Japanese firm of Yuasa & Hara. For multiple years running, he has been named an Illinois Super Lawyer. He is a member of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association, and speaks fluent Japanese.
