Three Brinks Gilson & Lione Shareholders Recognized Among Notable Gen X Leaders

CHICAGO – Brinks Gilson & Lione, one of the nation's largest intellectual property law firms, is proud to announce that shareholders Andrew Stover, Mark Remus, and David Lindner have been named to Crain’s 2019 list of Chicago's Notable Gen X Leaders in Law.

The list recognizes members of Generation X with commendable legal abilities who currently serve in a senior leadership role at their firm, have shown the ability to effect change in their role, serve as a role model for other attorneys, and assume a leadership position in the industry outside of their own organizations.

About the Shareholders

Andrew Stover, shareholder and co-chair of Brinks Gilson & Lione's prosecution practice group, is a former mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry with extensive experience in complex patent prosecution matters. He uses that technical expertise and 23 years of concentrated patent experience in preparing and prosecuting complicated U.S, foreign and international patent applications, as well as in counseling clients on all aspects of portfolio building, patent protection options, and forward-thinking patent strategy and management. As a leader of the patent prosecution practice group, Andrew develops training for junior members of the group and assists in their professional development.

Mark Remus, shareholder and co-chair of Brinks Gilson & Lione’s litigation practice group, is a litigator with extensive  experience in patent infringement, Hatch-Waxman, and FDA practice and strategy matters. Mark is involved in the firm’s mentorship program and is trusted by shareholders and associates for career advice. He also advocates for an environment of inclusion and collaboration.

David Lindner is a shareholder and chair of the firm's pro bono committee. David is involved in community agencies and organizations including the Center for Disability & Elder Law, Chicago Volunteer Legal Services and Lawyers for the Creative Arts, where he’s served as a member of its associate board for six years. David is alos co-chair of Brinks’ Investing in Justice Campaign for the Chicago Bar Foundation.
