Brinks Gilson & Lione Co-Hosts Chicago Committee's 10th Annual Minority Associate and In-House Bash
October 24, 2017

CHICAGO—Brinks Gilson & Lione, one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the United States and the largest IP firm in Chicago, will co-host the Chicago Committee’s 10th Annual Minority Associate and In-House Counsel Bash on Thursday, October 26, 2017, at the Untitled Supper Club in Chicago.

Founded in 1987, the Chicago Committee is a nonprofit, membership-based organization that seeks racial and ethnic diversity in the legal profession.

Brinks associate Peter Lee has been an active participant in the Chicago Committee and its programming since he became an attorney.  “Brinks has been a proud member of the Chicago Committee for almost two decades and is an advocate of the Chicago Committee and its mission,” said Lee. "In fact, we were the first sponsor of the inaugural Minority Associate and In-House Counsel Bash in 2007."

“I’m proud to be part of a firm that champions diversity and inclusion, and demonstrates its commitment to both in meaningful ways.”

The Chicago Committee collaborates with members, including Brinks, to drive sustainable institutional change at law firms and corporate legal departments, provide professional development opportunities, and cultivate the community of minority lawyers through programming and leadership opportunities.

Brinks is co-hosting the 10th Annual Minority Associate and In-House Counsel Bash with The Association of Corporate Counsel, the global bar association that promotes the common professional and business interests of in-house counsel who work for corporations, associations, and other organizations.
