Before beginning his legal career, Michael worked in various management positions and as a developer for software companies on the leading edge of technology in Silicon Valley and the Midwest. He was a senior software development manager at Oracle Corporation, where he was responsible for database development on Windows and Apple operating systems. At Made2Manage, he was a director of product development responsible for the development of ERP software for manufacturers. At Saba Corporation, he was a software architect who designed and wrote web-based enterprise applications in Java using XML and J2EE technologies.
