Andrew Umlauf has significant experience in the defense, industrial and consumer industries.  Whether there is a technical or legal issue at hand, he has a knack of breaking down complex problems and producing realistic solutions for his clients.

Andrew's legal acumen leveraged with his engineering experience helps clients protect their intellectual property related to remote monitoring of electrical distribution systems, message based-operating systems, audio/video filtering and medical diagnostics systems. Andrew has gained industrial and technical experience in a span of technologies including situational awareness systems for avionic displays, waste-water telemetry systems, cellular-based residential monitoring, and e-commerce billing.  Before and while attending law school, Andrew engineered solutions for both large and startup sized companies, gaining a front row seat to the product development and marketing required to achieve success. Andrew’s passion for new technology, his respect of business investment, and his ever growing legal knowledge base enables to him provide his clients with sound protection of their intellectual property.
